In this position you will lead the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects across all phases from schematic design to construction administration. This role requires a combination of architectural expertise, project management skills, and leadership ability to coordinate design teams, contractors, consultants, and clients. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept through final construction
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure objectives are met
Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
Solid understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and permitting processes
Oversee production of design and construction documents
Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and manage change orders during construction
Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress for quality assurance
Manage client communication, project scope, and expectations
Lead internal design coordination and consultant management meetings
Mentor and guide junior architects and project staff
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
10+ years of progressive experience, leading architectural project teams
Registered Architect or activity perusing licensure preferred
Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes
Understanding of MEP, structural, and civil coordination
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Collaborative and flexible workstyle
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
