The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of the Architectural process and be flexible to work on large- and small-scale projects. The position will involve working in all the firm’s market areas. There will be opportunities for advancement and increased management participation. The position requires in-office attendance.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor of Architecture Degree
- 12+ years post graduate experience;
- Architectural licensure and LEED certification a plus;
- Direct client interaction and communication experience a must;
- Prior experience managing small to medium sized teams;
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Excel, and Word;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently;
- Experience with design of scientific research labs and building renovations a plus;
- Familiarity with building codes, energy codes, and accessibility requirements.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Working and maintaining direct communication with clients and firm partners;
- Participating in business development and marketing the firm’s services;
- Participating in programming and the development of design concepts;
- Managing the preparation of construction documents and project deliverables;
- Coordination with the consultant teams;
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and maintaining quality control;
- Managing project schedules and evaluating staffing needs;
- Oversight of construction administration services.
