We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. With 5 or more years in the field, you'll take full ownership of projects — managing schedules, budgets, and client relationships from first meeting through construction closeout — while helping a close-knit team do its best work.
Our Work
OLSON LEWIS + Architects works across education, life sciences, residential, animal care, and hospitality. This role will primarily focus on life sciences, education, and residential projects, though we encourage candidates to share their interests as we work to match people with projects that fit them well.
What You'll Do
Manage projects from concept through construction administration, keeping scope, schedule, and budget on track.
Serve as the primary client contact — building trust, setting expectations, and keeping communication clear throughout.
Lead internal project teams, coordinating across design staff, consultants, and contractors.
Review and manage project contracts, consultant agreements, and construction contracts.
Track project financials, including fee utilization, invoicing, and budget reporting.
Lead or participate in client presentations, design reviews, and project coordination meetings.
Oversee construction administration, from document review and RFIs to site observation and closeout.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of craft and accountability.
Work Environment
Collaboration and mentorship are part of how we work. Most of the team is in the office Monday through Friday, with flexibility on schedule. Our office is in Manchester-by-the-Sea, within walking distance of the MBTA Commuter Rail Rockport Line. Free parking on-site.

5+ years of experience in architectural project management
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
Strong client communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities without losing detail
Solid understanding of construction documents, building codes, and project delivery
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and consultant coordination
Detail-oriented and decisive, with good judgment under pressure
A collaborative approach — someone who leads by example and brings the team along
